Learn and Master The Piano With A Computer Course

We have seen a lot of poorly made courses and frankly, they are quite abundant and numerous. Out of most of the courses on the internet, there is one that is rather well done and so we took a further look at it. The name of the course is called Rocket Piano and you can view more information about it below. Customer service is excellent and the quality is superb.

When reading piano notes for the first time you will most likely be a little intimidated if not confused. It really is a lot easier than it looks. Take the treble clef for example ( the top set of lines on piano sheet music ). Each space in between the lines is a note and each line is a note. Reading the spaces from bottom to top, you have the letters F,A,C,E. The lines from bottom to top are E,G,B,D,F. An easy way to remember both of these is white "face" for the spaces and "every good boy deserves fudge" for the lines.

The bass clef is similar in that it too has notes for both the spaces and lines. Again, reading from the bottom up the notes for the spaces would be A,C,E,G. A simple way of remembering this would be to say that "all cows eat grass". Next we have the lines for the bass clef. They read G,B,D,F,A. You can come up with your own slogan for these letters or use the industry standard as we like to call it, and say "good boys deserve fudge always". These sayings have been used for years and years to help new students remember the proper notation.

There are also such things as semitones, intervals, and tones when it comes to playing the piano. Going from any octave of C to the next, will take 13 keys. This includes both black and white. There are 12 semitones between notes of equal sound. E to F is a semitone, just like A to B is. Tones skip a note in between. One tone from E would be F# ( # is used to reference the term sharp in notation ).

An interval is normally known as either a minor or a major. It is the distance in pitch between two notes played anywhere on the piano. Intervals have different names and this depends on how far away the note is from the other. A simple example would be to say if you played the notes D and B. This would be a 6th since B is 6 keys from D. If you are interested in learning more piano, see the link below.
